M.TECH ADMISSION PROCESS IN INDIA
M.Tech admission varies on the requirements of the students. Govt. universities like IITs, NITs and central universities prefer GATE as the first option for admission. For Agriculture Engineering, Food Technology, Bio technology there is another entrance test called Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) examination. In both the qualified students offered some amount of monthly scholarship by the Govt. of India.
Apart from that the universities organizes their own entrance test at state and national level. Mostly seats enrolled for state level entrance test.
Private universities organize their own entrance test at national level. In the same entrance test some seats enrolled for the final year B.Tech students of that institute while some other for the sponsored students.

For admission in any foreign university you can go for Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) in which you have to face 1600 marks by two different subjects of science. To get your admission in any A grade university you at least have to score 1400 and that will varies by the choice of trades. For mechanical, Computer Science you have to score 1500 to apply for any scholarship based admission.
